AMR Meets “Gold Standard”
with CAAS Accreditation
AMR Central MS is Thrilled to Announce CAAS Accredition. AMR is the only certified service in the state of Mississippi.
The Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services is a national, independent committee charged with establishing and validating adherence to “the highest standards in the [Emergency Medical Services] industry.” This is an ongoing process that culminates with both an offsite and onsite review of all aspects of the operation by industry leaders including physicians, ambulance operators, and other experts from around the country.
The prestigious recognition is a testament to our commitment to providing top-notch emergency medical services to our community, through innovation and foundational strength. Thank you to our hardworking team for the tireless efforts in achieving this milestone. We are proud to continue serving our community with the highest level of care and professionalism.

Things we can do together
Over the years, AMR has grown with Central Mississippi to offer more EMS enhancements than any other provider. We have always been locally focused while drawing from the national strength of our company. Our ability to provide more and better services increased exponentially when we became part of the Global Medical Response (GMR) family of companies.
Emergency Dispatch Centers: We offer a dispatch center that serves the region, providing training and jobs for Mississippians who become the first link in the emergency-care chain.
Air Medical Integration: AMR offers air services in surrounding counties and throughout the state. We also offer an air membership in Mississippi.
EMS Memberships: AMR offers ground medical memberships starting at less than $100 per year for a household. These save citizens thousands of dollars if their insurance denies coverage or if they have no insurance at all. Additionally, air ambulances are a critical component of local EMS, especially when much of the region is rural and has no access to Level-I care. Through GMR's AirMedCare Network, air medical memberships are just $99 per year and cover the entire household.
